Hi everyone, it’s been long since the last “real” changes in Scratch Profile Embed. Pull requests that are okay have not been merged, there wasn’t any activity in the Issues. The latest commit was a removal of the chatbox on the landing, nobody used that anyways.
You pretty much all have appreciated the project. I have a majority of 😍 ratings. You helped, too. You provided constructive feedback, and made useful PRs. I also learned a lot making it.
And this is what the project mostly has been useful for. A friend pretty much described the whole thing :
Jokes apart, the project was more of something for me to learn and practice on. Some kind of experiment lab. Some people used it on their websites, and I’m really thankful for them, but I myself do not really find it useful for other people.
So now, I’m pretty much done with this. I think I learned all I think this project can teach me, and I’ve moved on to other things.
This means that no new features, improvements or bugfixes will be made from now on. But the website will stay online, and the repository will be made read-only, but it won’t be deleted, so people can still do what they want with the code. And, maybe, someone really nice will give it a second life?
Big thanks to all of you. <3
